She was my companion from the day I got her.

Always there to beg love and make me smile.

I could depend on her to play with me.

She never tired of our games.

There never was a better friend.

I miss you, Kake!

When I was tiny, we had a dog named Kake. She was my best friend. I was so sad when she died. Today is her birthday, I had to write something for her.

The Ups and Down of My Not-So-Average Life

Here finally is my post about Morning's blog. So sorry it took so long! It's a really amazing blog, but I have been so busy I haven't had time to write about it before.

The first thing you notice when you visit Morning's blog is her amazing blog design! I really love it. Morning sure knows what she's doing with the codes. (She also designed my blog). Isn't it lovely?

Morning's blog was one of the blogs that made me want to start blogging. Her posts always inspired me and made me want to go start my own blog, which in the end I did.

Morning writes all kinds of posts, from stories from her life to bits of writing she has done. All of them are amazing and have her mark of awesomness on them.

Morning's been a great friend to me, so be sure to go check out her blog. It really is amazing:)

Imogen's blog is mainly a writing blog. I have found heaps of really cool facts on it and it's really helping me with all my writing.

Imogen has an interesting way of writing. I have never seen a blog like hers. She suggests things and tells stories about her own experiences. I really love visiting her blog.

Writing Contest Winner!

I have the winner of my contest! It is...Yasmine! Congratulations:) Here's her entry:

Never Mourn

Her view of the earth was absolute;

looking down at her past, and at her future.

People seemed happy: just the way she liked them.

She did, however, feel a pang

in her chest.

A feeling of unhappiness,

of sorrow,

of loss and of being lost.

She was disappointed,

She was offended;

was that her lasting impact?

After all she'd done?

She shut herself off from the growing world beneath her,

and after time, she came to realise:

the greatest people are never mourned

because they greatest people are never truly dead.
