My new design is up! What do you think? Isn't it amazing?
As promised, my new design has been put up today. I'm really proud of everything I've done on it. It's taken a while and been hard work, but it's something I'm happy with.
There are still a few things that I will tweak here and there, but for the most part, this is what it's going to look like.
So, what do you think? Haven't I outdone myself this time? (yes I'm taking this moment to compliment myself sky high!)
I really liked the header from my last design, so I decided to try it again with this new one, I hope that's fine with you Morning. If it's not ok, please feel free to ask me to take it down. I don't want to be using anything you want.
But, anyway, the design is up and so, hopefully, I will be able to write about other things, because I'm sure you're all tired of hearing about this design.
Wow! So much has happened this month. I didn't even realise how busy I'd been. It turns out that around everything else I had to do this month, this blog didn't fair too badly.
I hope you liked this post. I'm thinking of doing one once every month as a way of looking back on what I've done!
Also, watch out tomorrow. The new design is heading up!
I've some really exciting news! My new blog design is almost ready! I can't wait to see what you think of it.
I will be uploading it on the 30th, that gives me a few more days to finish perfecting it. I've been working really hard on it and so I'm hoping that you'll like it!
Thank you to everyone whose helped me out with my design (*wink* I'm looking at you Imogen). I feel so special to have all of you who've given me all this feedback.
So, I hope you all look out for this and are excited for the changes that's about to happen. I hope you all like everything I've done.
Anyway, this is short, but today is crazy! I've been go go go. Hopefully next post will be better written and more interesting, but I just wanted to tell you all this news!
Kat from Kiss Me Goodbye has nominated me for the blogger recognition award! Thanks so much Kat.

My Story:
I shared this last time I did the blogger recognition award, but it's worth sharing again. So here I go...
I was always a writer. I loved scribbling in my old notebook full of ideas, but sadly there was no where and no one to share them all with.
My friends didn't seem interested in what I was doing, so I kept my writing to myself for ages, until I heard about blogging.
Blogging seemed perfect, a place where you can share your work and make friends, it was too good to be true. But it was there.
So I made myself an account and a blog and here I am, sharing my writing, thoughts and other such bits and bobs.
I'm very glad I didn't create this blog. It's been so much fun, I've learnt so much and made so many friends. Thank you to everyone whose helped my blog get this far!
My Advice:
Take your time. Think carefully about you blog name, your design and what you write. You want everything to be perfect. Don't just have any old thing, make sure it's what you want and not what other people say.
Also, edit. There's nothing worse than reading a post that hasn't properly been edited. Go back through it and make sure that it's all come out right. You want to be proud of what you've written remember.
Inspiration is one thing that always bugs me. Every few days I need a new idea for a new blog post and after a little while, the inspiration just stops flowing!
So today, I decided to put together my top five places to get inspiration from when the ideas stop coming.
1. Pinterest, Tumblr, ect.
Any place that you can look photos up on. Just go surf through other people's photos for a little while. I'm sure that after a little bit you will find ideas starting to come.
2. Quotes.
I don't know about you, but I love looking through famous quotes and seeing what inspired other people. Quite often, these quotes will give me an idea for a blog post. My favourite place to look up quotes is BrainyQuote (just so you know).
3. Other Blogs.
I'm not saying to go out there and steal other people's ideas, but looking through what other people have written about might help you. Going through your favourite blogs might also help you get into the mood to write.
4. Life.
Life is an amazing place to look for ideas in. Will a review of that amazing book you just read be interesting? Would people enjoy hearing about how you're trying to get fit and healthy? Think about what is interesting in your life at the moment.
5. YouTube.
Try watching your favourite videos. Even music videos might strike an idea and get to racing to go write. Don't get distracted though, YouTube can keep you from your post if you stay too long.
Well those are my top five tips on where to find inspiration, if you have anything to add, feel free. I would love to hear of some more places to help keep me inspired.
Oakstar over at An Amazing Case of Wanderlust, tagged me for the My Favourite Things About Winter tag. Thanks so much!
Just so you guys know (though it properly won't bother you), it's actually almost summer where I live, but this tag looks cool and hay, I've been tagged for it. I might as well do it anyway.
So onto the tag:
The Rules:
1.Thank the person who tagged you. (Link to their blog!) 2. Tell your top 5 favourite things about winter. 3. Answer the person who tagged you's questions about winter. 4. Ask 5 questions about winter for the people you tagged to answer. 5. Tag 3 or more people!
My top five favourite things about winter:
1. Wearing scarves. I have an obsession with scarves. I'm collecting them. There is no such thing as too many scarves in my option. If you could wear scarves in summer, the world would be a better place.
2. Cuddling down in a blanket and reading a good book. There's nothing like an amazing book on a cold winter's night, when you're all wrapped up in a blanket.
3. Heaters. Being able to turn the heater in my bedroom always makes things more cosy and peaceful. I always know winter has arrived when I flick the power back on.
4. Tea! I drink tea all year around (some might even say I'm addicted), but winter is the time of year when I get an excuse to drink more tea than should really be good for me and get away with it.
5. Staying indoors. I'm not really a social butterfly. I love staying home, reading and writing. Winter is the time of year when no one expects you to go out into the world and see people. It's the time for getting on a doing your own things.
Oakstar's Questions:
1.Favourite carol, for any holiday in this season?
I'm not quite sure about this question. Sorry, about that. If it means favourite carol for any holiday that falls in winter where I live, then I honestly have no clue. I'm not even sure if there are any big holidays in winter.
But if this question means, for any holiday this season I'm in currently, then I still have no clue. Nothing falls in spring. But next month it's summer and it's also Christmas and my favourite Christmas carol is:
Wow! It feels strange to be sharing Christmas carols, I didn't realise it was so close.
2.Favourite winter dish (ex. turkey or hot chocolate or candy cane)
Does tea count? It's sort of my favourite thing all year around!
3.Favourite winter sport? I don't really have one. I can't do any of them, but my favourite to watch is the skiing or the ice dancing!
4.How old were you when you built your first snowman? (if it's summer where you live, change this to sand castle)
Thanks Oakstar for this extra option. I was seven when I built my first sandcastle. That was the first I'd ever been to the beach.
Believe it or not, I've never seen settled snow. It hardly ever snows in Australia. Where I live it only snows once every few years and then it never settles and that's when it's really cold (for us).
5.Favourite holiday movie?
If this means, Christmas movie (I'm really bad at understanding questions, but we have different uses for words in Australia), then that would be A Muppet's Christmas Carol. I think that's what's it's called, I haven't watched it for a few years.
My Questions:
1. What's the first five words winter makes you think of?
2. What's your favourite thing to do in winter?
3. What's your favourite winter drink?
4. What's your favourite winter clothes?
5. What months are winter where you live?
Thanks so much for getting to the end of this post. It's seems really weird to be talking about winter when I'm sitting here on a really hot train heading to my job.
Something's been on my mind for a while, so I've decided to talk about it and ask for some advice.
The problem is, I'm thinking about redesigning this blog. I love the design and everything (Morning is an amazing designer), but it's not quite the style I want anymore. It beautiful, but not quite right anymore.
I think I want something a little more simple, without all the colour. However much I love colour, I've decided I don't want quite so much anymore.
So, here is where I ask for help, should I redesign this blog or not?
And while on this subject, I have another problem, who should I have redesign my blog? Where did you get your blog designed?
Sadly I don't have any money to spend on a blog design so I will either have to go to a free blog design shop (there aren't many around anymore) or try designing it myself.
Do you know any free blog designers or do you think I should try to design it myself? Please give me some feedback! I really need some help.
I got a strange email a while ago from someone asking me, 'Why do you write so much about love?'. This kind of felt strange to me, why do I write about love? I never realised before that I did write about it a lot, but it seems I do. The answer to that person's question is, Love is important, it's hard and painful and beautiful. It's what most girls dream of a lot's loose their hearts over. So yes, I might write a lot about it, but I hope that what I write helps others.
Thanks Lydia for tagging me for the Blogger Recognition Award. I feel really special for this!

I've been so busy with NaNo and preparing for my cousin's wedding that I haven't had time to read or do anything else. While NaNo is totally amazing and wonderful, combined with preparing a wedding it's definitely a challenge and it's nice to have time to just curl up with a favourite book.
I don't know about you, but I'm frankly scared of taking a blogging break, just in case I happen to loose readers, not be able to get back into writing properly and many other reasons.
So today, I thought I would share with you some tips for taking a great blogging break and getting back into blogging again afterwards. Here goes...
Set a come back date. Write it on your calendar, tell your readers. That way you have people watching out for you coming back and it's not just like you dropped off the face of the earth without warning. It also makes sure that you're break doesn't go on forever and you never come back.
Don't vanish completely. Just because you're not writing on your blog doesn't mean that you can't still communicate with your bloggers. Keep active with Twitter or Facebook or Instagram, whatever social media you have. That way people will still know that you live.
Also, keep commenting on your friends' blogs. If they took a break, you'd still hope they comment on yours. Anyway, it's best not to loose friendships by not talking to your blogging buddies.
Schedule your posts. When you come back to your blog on the set date, it maybe hard to get back into the swing of things. Don't panic. My suggestion is, schedule your posts, at least at first, so for those days you forgot to write anything, you still have something going up.
Create a writing schedule. Mark days down that you have to a post on. Doesn't matter if you've already got a post scheduled, write one anyway. You don't know when you're going to need one.
Even if you're scheduling, getting a writing schedule helps you get back into the swing of your blog. It might help for you to circle your writing days on your calendar to remind you.
Don't panic. When you come back, you might panic about losing readers, not being able to keep up with everything and countless other silly things, but don't worry.
It's natural to have a few lost readers after a break, but if you come back properly, it won't matter. You will soon win back all those readers and more besides.
If you can't keep up with the blogging world, set some time down each day for it so that you're on the ball. You can also cut down on some of the things you do.
During your break you were more active on social media then before, but now you can slow that down slightly. Don't drop it, but take it back to what it was before your break.
Have fun. Remember why your blogging. What you started for. If you don't enjoy your blogging then you might as well not do it. No one wants to read something that the author didn't enjoy writing.
I hope these tips help you. If you have any other blogging break tips, please share them!
That's all for today. Sorry it's just a tag, but I am a bit busy with NaNoWriMo at the moment. I have a few good posts coming up though. Until next time...
