Kat from Kiss Me Goodbye has nominated me for the blogger recognition award! Thanks so much Kat.
RULES
- Give a brief story of how your blog got started, and give a piece or two of advice to new bloggers. Thank whoever nominated you, and link to their blog. List who you've nominated in the post.
- Make sure to also attach the award itself! (You can do this by right clicking, saving, and uploading the image.)
- Comment on each blog and let them know you've nominated them. Provide a link to the award post you created.
- Provide a link to the original post on Edge of Night. That way, anyone can find the original guidelines and post if needed, and we can keep it from mutating and becoming confusing!
- For this award, you must nominate 15 peeps. You can't just go "I nominate this award to whoever wants it comment below" like that. You can decline the award also if you do not want to do the above rules.
My Story:
I shared this last time I did the blogger recognition award, but it's worth sharing again. So here I go...
I was always a writer. I loved scribbling in my old notebook full of ideas, but sadly there was no where and no one to share them all with.
My friends didn't seem interested in what I was doing, so I kept my writing to myself for ages, until I heard about blogging.
Blogging seemed perfect, a place where you can share your work and make friends, it was too good to be true. But it was there.
So I made myself an account and a blog and here I am, sharing my writing, thoughts and other such bits and bobs.
I'm very glad I didn't create this blog. It's been so much fun, I've learnt so much and made so many friends. Thank you to everyone whose helped my blog get this far!
My Advice:
Take your time. Think carefully about you blog name, your design and what you write. You want everything to be perfect. Don't just have any old thing, make sure it's what you want and not what other people say.
Also, edit. There's nothing worse than reading a post that hasn't properly been edited. Go back through it and make sure that it's all come out right. You want to be proud of what you've written remember.
My Nominees:
Lyndsey from A Writers Thoughts
Erin from Erin Estella
Noelle from Live. Love. Move
Cathy from Hello, Cathy
Mahnoor from Mahnoor Apple
Catalina from The Emo Wolverine Writes
Mackenzie from Think. Eat. Write. Read
Sorry, this isn't fifteen, but I don't know enough bloggers that haven't already been nominated.
Thanks so much for reading. I know my award posts aren't very interesting, so this means a lot to me.

<3 Hi Kat! You must be popular for being nominated again! :) I haven't done the tag yet; the most difficult part is nominating fifteen bloggers! Anyway, thanks for nominating me last time. ^_^
ReplyDeleteI wanted to come by and tell you that if you want you can still join my competition. So far, I'm only having photography on one occasion (New Year's Eve) and the rest will include mainly writing or so.(And I need your poems in my competition! They're amazing!) :) So no need to worry about it being summer in Australia. :)
Let me know whether you'd still like to join xox
