Does Anyone Else Have Trouble With Picking Favourites?

After being out of town for a few days, I'm back! Whoopee (does anyone else eat these?)!!! And guess what I've come back to? I blog award. Thank you so much Lydia @ The Fashion Cheetah.

Rules:

1. Copy and paste these rules on to your award post.
2. Come up with at least 5 fun questions for your nominees to answer.
3. Nominate at least 5 people who you think are amazing and have an amazing blog.
4. List at least one reason why you appreciate the people you nominated.
5. Put this award on your sidebar or award/tag page if you were nominated.
6. Leave a comment on your nominees' blogs letting them know they've been nominated.

Questions:

1. How are you so fabulous?
By being utterly nuts and confusing everyone? Does this count?!

2. Are you currently writing anything?
I'm so glad you took the time to ask this question, because yes! As most of you properly have realised by now (if not you haven't read my last posts), I'm writing a novel.

I'm really excited about it. It's a fantasy world travelling book. If that helps ya at all. I have no idea how to sum it up. I did post some quotes from is though, so take a look at those. And if you'd like (or not like) I'd also love to post more of them!

3. Where do you find your inspiration?
Oh, the mundane things in life. I busy train, teens mucking around in the shops, a cup of coffee and scones.

There isn't really a set place I find my inspiration. More like I find it everywhere, in everything I see, do and hear. Inspiration doesn't just come from one place, but many!

4. Favourite drink?
Tea, tea, TEA!!! I'm a tea addict. You can't stop me from drinking it. Not the herbal tea, just plain, black tea with no sugar. Ah, heaven!

5. What inspired your blog name?
Well it's no unknown fact that I'm mad and crazy and bonkers. So I just though, 'how do you make that completely obvious from the first glance at my blog?' Well the answer was, put it in the title.

And then I thought that it might not be a great idea to scare people away, so I lied a bit and put an '(Almost)' in there. Yup, a big fat lie.

So that is how (Almost) Completely Mad got it's name. It didn't take much thinking. In fact I put no thought into what to call my blog at all. It was the first name I could think of and it's stuck.

Who I Nominate:

Imogen @ Gossiping with Dragons : For being a great friend, a constant inspiration, help and flow of ideas.

Stephanie @ Called His: For helping my faith and showing me that we're not all perfect. And for always making me smile.

Cait @ Paper Fury: For always giving me a constant stream of books to read and ruling over me. You're advice is always wanted.

La La in the Library @ La La in the Library: For awesome posts, comments and suggestions and the best blog feature ever!

Paige @ The Joys of Being Paige: For the best advice and recipes. Your blog always inspires me to go and do something.

My Questions:

1. What's your favourite broken character in a book?
2. Who were the last characters you shipped? Were you right?
3. What instruments can you play and what kind of feel does it give you? (i.e romantic, jazzy, joyful, exciting)
4. What inspired the last thing you wrote and what was it?
5. On a scale of 1-10 how MAD are you?

So as you might have noticed, I'm really bad at awards. I hate picking favourites in friends. I don't like any of you more than the others. I hope you understand that.
What do you guys think? Should I follow the trend and have a Q & A. Would you be interested in having your questions answered? BTW, my FAQ page is being launched soon.

    1. Tea is the best! Ever since I first tasted it, it's been an addiction.
Thank you so much! I feel so honoured. I must visit yours in return:)

  2. I find inspiration in everyday life, too. And it's so hard to pick favorites... urgh, the problems, the situation, ya da ya da. Usually I end up giving my awards to readers who I haven't commented on their blogs in awhile; it's a really good conversation starter. It's like meeting up with a friend who you haven't seen in awhile. ^.^

    xoxo Morning

    1. Everyday life is great for drawing ideas from, isn't it?
That's a great idea! I tend to give it to people who haven't done awards for a while, but your idea is even better:)

    1. I know! Sometimes favourites feel totally right, but at other times it feels completely wrong to make favourites.
I do the same thing when I don't have a favourite, mainly because people give you a weird look if you say you don't have a favourite. But normally you can tell I'm faking because I give a different answer every time:)
I have to try that! Good idea. I do like chai tea occasionally, does that count as herbal? But not much else!

  6. Congratulations on your award! Aw, what a lovely award to receive. My first blog name stuck as well, mainly because I'd rather that people immediately knew what type of blog it was, than have a fancy name and people might not know. I'm a tea addict as well. I've been drinking a lot of lemon and ginger tea lately. Ahhh. You're right, it IS heaven!

Hey! Have I heard about this fantasy travelling world before?!?! I feel like I have, but I can't remember what it was about. =/ It sounds amazing. Guess what? Today is Fiction Friday on my blog, so it would be wonderful if you decided to share a TEENSEY teensey snippet of your book. I would love to read. One more question - is it YA fantasy?

Well I have been writing about it quite a bit recently! I'm so excited about it. Yes it is! It's my favourite genre to write!

    1. Thank you! It is. The best writers get their inspiration from mundane things, because that's what people can relate with.

  11. Well thanks so much! It is wonderful to feel appreciated! I try and make it a point, when I have time, to comment on newer blogs that haven't picked up full steam yet. Like mine, ha ha! It is nice to know people are actually reading your blog. I made a New Year's promise to myself to start commenting on the vlogs I watch, too; something for some reason I was doing ZERO of the times I watched them. I am doing better with that. I think I have commented at least once on every one I watch regularly. Anyway, back to the award... the questions are fab. I will get this done within the next two wrecks. I have three reviews due next week, but I will start a draft right now so I don't forget. High five!

    1. I try to comment on the smaller blogs as well! It always feels like your comment brings more happiness on a smaller blog:)
That's a great idea! I comment on no vlogs either. I'll have to start. Great idea!

  12. XD Your answers were funny! I totally drink tea, too (out the wazoo) and finding inspiration in mundane things is the best! It's almost like they're asking to be made into stories. Anyway, I've heard your blog's name dropped a lot, and thought it sounded cool, so now I'm glad I've finally found it!

Also, thanks for stopping by Sometimes I'm a Story!

    1. Thank you! I'm glad when I find people who have things in common with me. I reckon mundane things are the best because people understand them best. If you write about things people have no idea about then it's much harder to understand.

  13. Tea is the best drink ever, is it not? I'm actually swigging a cup of black sugarless tea right at this very second actually. It's almost freaky how alike we are, except that you're an awesome person so it's an honour to have things in common with you. Thanks for the nomination! I would love to take part in this and hopefully I'll be able to post my answers in the next couple of weeks. Love the questions!

I can't wait to see what you have to say!

  14. *rules regally and somewhat evilly* WELL, YOU ARE WELCOME FOR BEING RULED OVER BY THE FABULOUS MOI. hehe. ;-) Omg, I nearly missed this post! I have been so slack reading blogs and commenting (my bad) but ohhhh THANK YOU. You are the kindest, Kat! And FAQ posts are fun. I have one schedule for next week or something, but is it cheating when I make up some of the questions? Hm.. I can frequently ask myself stuff RIGHT?! RIGHT?! x)
Also: I'm sure I've said this before, but your blog name is THE BEST.

    1. What would I do if I didn't tell what to read and what not to read?! I'd DIE!!!!
I know! I'll have mine up so soon. I'm so excited:)
I don't reckon so, if it's things you think that your readers need to know, then tell them! It's for the better good of their education. Besides you're overload, you can do what you want.
      Thank you so much!
