You see, I’ve felt Blogger feed behind. I’m no longer using. I’ve got something better (hehehe)! I’ve got you *sorry, sorry, random quote*. No what I really have is BLOGLOVIN’.
I was really nervous at first to sign up and leave the ol’ Blogger feed behind, but it turns out it was for the better. Can I just say how awesome it is?
Firstly there is the thing that Bloglovin’ sends all your feed to your emails…DAILY! How awesome is it to check your mail and get your feed at the same time?! Let me tell you, it’s amazing.
Another thing I love is how you can favourite posts you really like. How often do you read a post then later wish to read it again, but have no idea where it is? Well with Bloglovin’ you can just favourite it and then you can find it again easily. Isn’t that just the most amazing idea?
You also get a special page for your blog on Bloglovin’. You can claim it then see the people who are following it here. Because let’s just be honest, hardly anyone follows using FGC.
But it gets even better, you can see what your friends are favourite-ing, reading and following. So if you ever need something to read, you can just look at what your friends are enjoying. Now isn’t that handy?
I also find Bloglovin’ is set out much better than your Blogger feed. It’s super easy to work your way around.
It also has to option of sharing your blog posts to your Social Medias automatically. That way I don’t have to remind myself to do it.
So yes, in my eyes Bloglovin’ is worth all the fuss it’s been given and more. If you don’t use it, I suggest you start. It’s one of the best blogging tools around.
But don’t just take my word on it? What do you think? Is there anything still better?
I'm just about over my blogging block. I should be back to writing properly from now on! Which I'm more than glad of because I've missed all of it.-Kat
Wait how do you get posts to share to social media automatically?? I've been trying to figure it out for so long!!
ReplyDeleteI think it's in the settings! I did it a while back so I don't remember very well. I'm sure it'd be easy to find out how though!
DeleteI TOTALLY AGREE
ReplyDeleteBloglovin' is one of the best readers I've come across! It's much better than Blogger feed
DeleteI don't use Bloglovin often, but I do agree that Blogger can be annoying. I should look into using it, though...
ReplyDeletexoxo Morning
Bloglovin' is worth it. You should look into using because it makes life and just blogging in central so much easier. I wouldn't go back now!
Deletehmm, I've been thinking about using Bloglovin' more consistently. I have it and do occasionally use it, but I've never gone in depth and checked out all what it can do. I'll have to give it a go.
ReplyDeleteYou should! It's much better than Blogger and much easier to use.
DeleteIt's so nice to know that I'm not alone!
ReplyDeleteBlogger would always make me soo mad when it wouldn't show the blogger feed. Then Bloglovin' was introduced to me. *heavenly music starts playing*
I love it! At first I didn't really see the point in making an account, but I'm so glad I did. I love it when it sends me a lovely little email showing me all the recent post my awesome blog friends have posted. Ah, Bloglovin', thank you for making my life a little bit easier. ;)
Awesome post, Kat!
I know! I'll always thank my amazing friend who convinced me to move over.
DeleteIt's nice just to have it all there in your emails. You don't even have to sign in. Bloglovin' is definitely a life saver!
Best part is we get blogs from different platform together at one place :D
ReplyDeleteso I can follow blogs from weebly or wordpress or blogger and they all show up together in single timeline :D
I know! I hate how Blogger will only show Wordpress and Blogger blogs.
DeleteBloglovin' is great! :) I find it really helpful and I also prefer the layout of it. The Blogger feed is good too, but it doesn't always work and it looks awful and and and... ^^ Let's all agree Bloglovin' is a better option.
ReplyDeleteI've never actually read a post about Bloglovin' and I really enjoyed reading this! x Amazing as always, Kat!
Cloudy Dreams
Exactly! The layout is awful. I can never stand it!
DeleteThanks Yasmine. I always try to be inventive:)
Bloglovin is simply awesome ♥
ReplyDeleteIsn't it?
DeleteBloglovin is amazing! I still follow via Blogger feed but I never check. It's really hard for me to find all the links of the blogs I read and then look at all the new posts but now with Bloglovin, I can! (I'm actually reading this post via Bloglovin)

I used to follow using both, but I don't see the point if I never check Blogger. So I now just use Bloglovin'.
DeleteI personally prefer reading blogs via Feedly, because it's not about all this follow here and follow there and has the nice feature, that you can read all of the posts on one page. I don't care, if people know if I follow them or not, because I usually leave comments and I think comments are actually more worth than knowing that somebody is following you.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of that! I'll have to look it up. That sounds useful.
DeleteComments are definitely better than follows. I totally agree there.
Bloglovin' is my FAVOURITE...except for the week it decided not to show my posts. hehe. But the customer service is A+ also, because they fixed it! YAY! I love it so much better than blogger...it's intelligent and it can follow ANY blog, whether they're on wordpress, or blogger, or whatever. x)
ReplyDeleteBloglovin' is awesome! I've never had a problem on it. Blogger bugged me with the not being able to follow different kind of blogs thing. I'd show Wordpress and Blogger, but would say it couldn't find anything else.
DeleteBloglovin' is a great tool for following blogs. As long as there's a feed in the website, we can follow it on Bloglovin'. Another advantage with Bloglovin' is that it has an app, so we can always read posts on the go. I can also take note of which posts I've read and which posts I haven't. However, there are times when I'm busy and I find the daily emails a little overwhelming. Nonetheless, it's the best tool for people following blogs and bloggers themselves. :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't looked at the apps yet! I'll have to do that. It sounds good. Bloglovin' is the best thing I've found so far!
DeleteI do like blogger, but I'm thinking about making the switch. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post!!
